Abstract

Maulana Muhammad Hussain Azad is a great Urdu poet and writer. He has done very useful research regarding Urdu literature. He was also given the title of Shams Ul Ulamma. Azad's pastism is very prominent. He has cited the past as an example. According to Azad, the literature of the past, the society of the past and the writers of the past were very exemplary people. This is the reason why they have remembered the past.
